The Resilient Guilford Network is an action oriented, trauma resiliency network of systems and collaborative leaders who work together to build and support safe, secure, and nurturing communities. We are committed to using a trauma responsive and racial equity framework to prevent and heal trauma while strengthening individual, organizational, and community resilience across Guilford County. These gatherings offer space to learn, connect, and consider actionable ways we can improve safety, wellness, and belonging for all.
THIS MONTH’S MEETING: Awareness in Action: Protect, Prevent, Empower focuses on strengthening community response during Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Awareness efforts. This session examines how early recognition, informed intervention, and coordinated support can help protect individuals at risk and promote safer environments. Participants will explore the realities survivors face, the barriers that can prevent them from seeking help, and the role each of us plays in supporting safety and dignity. The session offers practical guidance for prevention, survivor centered communication, and ways communities can work together to empower those affected by violence.
We hope to see you and please share broadly to those who may be interested in attending. Please email us if you would like to receive reminders about these meeting.
