Behind Closed Screens: Understanding Teen Dating and Interpersonal Violence in the Digital Age examines how technology shapes relationships, boundaries, and risk for young people. While digital platforms allow teens to connect and communicate, they also create new pathways for control, manipulation, harassment, and harm. This session explores the dynamics of teen dating violence, how abusive behaviors can play out through texting, social media, location sharing, and online monitoring, and the ways these patterns can be easily hidden from adults. Participants will learn how to recognize warning signs, support healthy relationship skills, and create space for open conversations that help teens feel safe seeking help.
