Resilient Guilford Network

RGN is an action-oriented, trauma resiliency network of systems and collaborative leaders that build and support safe, secure, and nurturing communities. All Guilford County residents are welcome to join this network!

Resilient NC

In November 2021, the Kellin Foundation released Resilient NC: Supporting Statewide Efforts to Build Community Resilience, which summarizes resiliency efforts of 9 states and 17 North Carolina-based resiliency efforts. The report uses lessons learned to provide eight recommendations for moving North Carolina’s statewide resiliency efforts forward. In addition to the report, you can review an executive summary and a one-page overview.

Resilient Schools

Kellin Foundation supported the Guilford County Schools (GCS) Learning Hubs Initiative, sharing resiliency-building skills with administrators, teachers, students, and parents/guardians.

Our team also developed and delivered a 3-day evidence-based interactive training for GCS School Resource Officers since they frequently interact with students struggling with mental health challenges. The conference focused on trauma-informed approaches to addressing student mental health, safety, and wellness. See the results and learn more.

Resilient Forsyth

Our team led a project in Forsyth County as part of Great Expectations to gather community perceptions about steps that can be taken to create a more trauma-informed early childhood system. This included interviews and focus groups with 60+ community members. See the findings and recommendations.
