What is the Resilient Guilford Network (RGN)?

RGN is an action-oriented, trauma resiliency network of systems, cross-sector collaborative leaders, direct service providers, first responders, youth and family partners, schools, and any interested group or individual interested in supporting safe, secure, and nurturing communities.

All Guilford County residents are welcome to join this network as we focus on individuals of all ages! Beginning in 2024, RGN will meet quarterly as an All Network Team. 

The Resilient Guilford Network - All Network meets quarterly and is a combined meeting that includes all of the action teams within RGN to ensure that all affinity groups are connecting and collaborating for collective impact.

How is RGN Structured?

There are three action teams (sub-groups) that make up RGN:

RGN Provider Academy Action Team: Individuals within this team provide direct services in mental health, substance use, or healthcare arenas and participate in the Provider Academy workforce development and capacity building portions of RGN as we work to build skills and effectiveness to provide evidence-based services.

RGN Youth and Family Trauma Provider Network:  Individuals within this team are direct service providers and youth-serving organizations that have signed on to be part of the Child Response Initiative Memorandum of Agreement, which builds a referral network to provide a trauma-informed, culturally-competent, and comprehensive coordinated community response for children impacted by violence or trauma and their families. 

RGN Youth and Family Academy:  Individuals within this team are community members who participate and share their experiences and voices around mental health, substance use, monthly topics of focus for RGN, including what has worked and what has not worked based on their lived experience.

  • Mental health and substance use providers focused on youth and families

  • Healthcare providers focused on youth and families

Who should join RGN-TPN? 

  • This MOA’d referral network does not meet separately monthly, but cross-refers to support trauma-informed service access for children, youth, and families impacted by violence and/or trauma.
