Provider Academy is a workforce development initiative within the Resilient Guilford Network that offers free educational sessions for behavioral health providers seeking to enhance their competencies in mental health, substance use, and community support. Each workshop is facilitated by experienced professionals and delivers practical, evidence-informed tools grounded in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and collaborative practice. All sessions provide continuing education credits to promote ongoing professional growth in the field.

Connected But Alone: Social Media, Connection, and Adolescent Well Being explores how digital life shapes the emotional and social experiences of young people. While social media can offer belonging and creative expression, it can also contribute to anxiety, isolation, comparison, and constant connection without true support. This session looks at the pressures adolescents navigate online, the ways digital engagement influences mental health, and how adults can guide healthier use. Participants will learn strategies for fostering strong relationships, encouraging open conversations, and supporting young people in both online and offline spaces.
