With the ever increasing demand for mental health support for students, youth peer support and mental health resources for youth are emerging as vital parts of meeting that demand. According to the CDC’s Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS), from 2021 to 2023, data is highlighting “experiences of violence, persistent sadness or hopelessness, and suicidal thoughts and behaviors” (p.1). Join this workshop to get an in-depth view of these trends, discuss youth peer support, & learn resources to address youth concerns about their mental health.
