Pinwheels Planting Day! Kickoff for Child Abuse Prevention Month

  • Kellin Foundation Hope Hub 4010 Walker Avenue Greensboro, NC, 27403 United States (map)

On April 1st, the Kellin Foundation will be planting our Pinwheels for Prevention® to mark the start of Child Abuse Prevention Month. The pinwheel is a national symbol of the bright, hopeful childhoods all children deserve—and we’re proud to join Positive Childhood Alliance NC, NC DHHS, and partners across the state in this effort.

We invite our community partners to join us by planting pinwheels at your offices, in your front yards, or in other visible spaces on April 1st. Whether it’s one pinwheel or a garden full, your display helps raise awareness and show support for children and families in our community.

Need pinwheels to plant? You can pick them up at the Kellin Foundation (4010 Walker Avenue, Greensboro) at our upcoming RGN meeting on April 2nd at the Hope Hub to plant in your yard or office.

Let’s fill our community with signs of hope this April.
