MOA Celebration - Braver, Stronger, Smarter Together!
October 4, 2017 The Trauma Provider Network, coordinated through the Greensboro Child Response Initiative (CRI), celebrated its seventh year of continued partnership in a ceremony from 11:30 am -1:00pm on October 4, 2017, at the Eastern Division Police Substation Community Room on October 4, 2017. The event includes testimonials from agencies and partners that highlight how the CRI program works to heal children and families exposed to violence and trauma. |

2017 Journey to Brave: Annual Fundraiser, Auction, and Benefit
September 29, 2017 The 1st Annual Journey to Brave Fundraiser, Auction, and Benefit was a SMASHING success! On September 29, 2017, the house was packed with amazing community members who came out to support the work of the Kellin Foundation. Hosted by our Honorary Chair Cindy Farmer, the Kellin Foundation was able to exceed their target goal by almost three times over! Kellin Staff and Volunteers Participate in the Doggettville 12 Ultra Run to Raise Money for the Kellin Foundation
September 16, 2017 On September 16, 2017, a team of 4 Kellin supporters took to the trails and ran for 12 straight miles to support the Doggettville 12 and the Kellin Foundation. The team completed 52 miles together and the Doggettville run raised almost $500 for the Kellin Foundation! Way to go! |

The pinwheel is the national symbol for child abuse prevention and April is nationally recognized as Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Pinwheel represents the joys of childhood and promotes the awareness that ALL CHILDREN deserve to be safe and well. |
County Proclamation For Child Abuse Prevention and Sexual Assault Awareness
April 20, 2017 27 partners attended the Board of Commissioner's meeting to accept the proclamation for child abuse prevention and sexual assault awareness month. Making Lemonade Out of Lemons:
Kellin Kids Make a Difference! April 2017 Throughout the month of April, youth across the community hosted lemonade stands to raise awareness about Prevent Child Abuse America’s Pinwheels for Prevention® campaign. The pinwheel is the national symbol for child abuse prevention and April is nationally recognized as Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Pinwheel represents the joys of childhood and promotes the awareness that ALL CHILDREN deserve to be safe and well. This family-friendly volunteer opportunity was a great way to not only teach about the importance of making lemonade out of lemons in life, but also how each person regardless of their age can make a big difference. Kellin Foundation Now Certified to Provide New
Girls Leadership Edge Program February 1, 2017 The Women’s Professional Forum Foundation congratulates the first eighteen Certified Facilitators of the Girls Leadership Edge program. Girls Leadership Edge is a series of learning modules to be delivered by qualified, highly trained facilitators across Guilford County. The program modules provide middle school girls age 13 to 15 with the skills to become lifelong leaders in their lives and the communities in which they live. The program is designed with an emphasis on developing Courage, Confidence and Compassion. |
Kellin Foundation Partners with Goodwill
January 31, 2017 The Kellin Foundation has partned with Goodwill to hold a Blue Bin Drive to help collect PAC cards for individuals and families in crisis. Thanks to all of the generous donations of gentled used items, we were able to obtain 5 PAC cards at $25 for families in need. Helping families while cleaning out closets makes space for making a difference together! |

Guilford County County Commissioners Issue Proclamation for April as
Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Awareness Month

The Kellin Foundation is excited to a be a primary partner in Guilford County County Commissioner's Proclamation to name April as Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Awareness Month for Guilford County.
"NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Guilford County Board of Commissioners join advocates and communities across the country in playing an active role to prevent child abuse and sexual violence and hereby proclaim April as “Sexual Assault Awareness Month” and “Child Abuse Prevention Month.”

2110 Golden Gate Drive, Suite B, in Greensboro, North Carolina.
This convenient location is right off of State Street in Greensboro
and approximately 1 mile north from Cone Hospital.
We also are on the bus line. Come check us out!

Kellin Foundation is proud to partner with Volvo International and American Outback Adventures and Events to be the recipient of multiple children's bikes and helmets assembled as part of a corporate team building event. Kellin Foundation accepted these bikes in the presence of a host of employees and executives. We are proud to accept these bikes to include as part of our Lindy's Kids programming, which will allow children who otherwise would not be able to have a bicycle to have a set of wheels of their own! Dollar Jean Day!
The Cornerstone Parents Association voted to select Lindy’s Kids as the November charity of choice for the school’s dollar jean day program. Students, who usually are required to wear uniforms, will be allowed to wear jeans to school on one day in November if they bring a dollar in their pocket for the identified charity. Go Cornerstone! And, thanks for your support to help other kids in your community!

This 5K event included advocates, supporters, and survivors to send a clear message that domestic violence has to stop. A purple balloon release honored those individuals who’s lives have been impacted by domestic violence.
