How the Helping Hands Community Linked Together (written by 9-year-old Alyssa)
The Helping Hands Community linked together starting with a 9-year-old girl named Alyssa. From the help of Kellin Kids, the Helping Hands Community gathers together to give food and water to people experiencing homelessness, as well as clothes such as hats, scarves, and gloves, especially around the winter season. From the help of other youth volunteers and families, we give out blessing bags to people around our community that have the items below in the bag.  We hope that the Helping Hands Community will make a difference for people experiencing homeless by sharing hope and love.

Items In Need for the Helping Hands Community

  • Non-perishable foods
  • Bottled water
  • Hats
  • Scarves
  • Gloves
  • Socks
  • Ziploc bags (gallon size)

If you would like to give items or donations, you can drop them off at the Kellin Foundation - 2110 Golden Gate Dr., Suite B, Greensboro, NC.

If you would like to give money to help support the work of the Helping Hands Community, we will give the money to Interactive Resource Center (IRC) to help the people experiencing homelessness in a variety of ways.

If you are a youth between the ages of 5-18 years and you are interested in helping, sign up at the Kellin front office by calling 336-429-5600 or emailing to kellinkidshelp@gmail.com.
