Why Pinwheels?
Prevent Child Abuse America introduced the pinwheel as the new national symbol for child abuse prevention through Pinwheels for Prevention®. April is nationally recognized as Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Pinwheel represents the joys of childhood and promotes the awareness that ALL CHILDREN deserve to be safe and well. |
Join Us! YOU Make a Difference!
Each year, we partner with law enforcement, social services, community service organizations, businesses, children and families to take part in this national movement. This family-friendly event will include food trucks, park fun, games, great speakers, information and resources, and most importantly – a community standing together to say that child well-being is important! So, grab your kids of all ages, plant a pinwheel, and enjoy an afternoon in the park together! |
